Cookies & Analytics Notice
Version: 2026-10-12. Effective: 12 October 2026.
1. Essential browser storage
TURNKNOB uses cookies and browser local/session storage where needed for authentication, keeping a signed-in session, interface preferences and security. The configured Supabase sign-in client can store an authentication session for the Turnknob project; the local development sign-in mode uses local access/refresh-token storage. Clearing essential storage or blocking it can sign you out or prevent account features from working. Browser settings let you inspect and remove stored data; signing out is the preferred way to end a session on a shared device.
2. Optional analytics in this beta
Optional behavioural telemetry is disabled in this release. The platform does not enable its behavioural visitor/session identifiers, click tracking or behavioural-event uploads merely because you accept studio terms. No optional analytics or marketing checkbox is pre-selected as part of studio acceptance. If we later introduce non-essential tracking, we will explain the provider, purpose and applicable duration and obtain a separate lawful choice where required before enabling it. We do not use a “cookie banner” to pretend that essential sign-in storage is optional or to force marketing consent.
3. Operational logs and external services
Hosting and authentication services may process necessary security/operational logs, including technical network information. These are different from optional behavioural tracking. An external provider you deliberately visit or connect, such as a calendar or sign-in provider, uses its own storage and privacy terms. TURNKNOB's notice does not control that provider's website. Device location is subject to the browser permission requested when you choose a location-based feature.
4. Questions and updates
Contact support@turnknob.in for storage/privacy questions or a choice you cannot exercise through the interface. The Privacy Notice explains information handling and rights. This notice is dated/versioned; minor wording or link updates may be posted without an individual email, while material new tracking or purposes receive appropriate notice and a separate consent choice where applicable.
